However, i dont think that these things will happen in the real life. People nowadays are selfish. What they think is the benefits of themselves only. So,this short shory is important to awake the people's conscious to be more caring towards the one they love and it is pointless that u speak a lot of honey words as action speaks louder than words.

Comparing this story with The Necklace. They were quite in the same situation since this couple also live in poverty, but different mindset made their life happier. She love her husband very much even though he didn't give her fancy clothes and sparkling jewerly. Being poor doesn't mean that you cannot be happy, they are poor but they are rich, rich in their love the positivity they have. Love could just makes people do crazy things, but these indeed are the little things in life that should be appreciated. When life are not treating you well, when life is full with suffers, poverty and all those darkness, a moment like the moment they gave each other the gifts would enlighted life, despite of all the dark side of life, they saw the light in the first place, when life is not treating you right, you should not treat yourself wrong, take all the negativity and use them as a fuel to find the silver lining, you might find out life actually isn't so bad. As a conclusion, it's a beautiful life, a beautiful christmas.

This is a sweet and touching love story. In my opinion , love is all we need in this life. Everyone in this world wants to be loved. If love is all you need , you must be willing to travel to the ends of the earth for it. Based on this story , no matter what happen , they still hold on to each other . Their love never fade instead they build uo together , sacrificed for each other. Everyone wants to be the sun to lighten up everyone's life , but why not the moon to lighten up in darkest hours? That's how a real relationship should be.
